History of CN Terracotta
Equally as important as machinery that creates it, is the source of the raw material. With thousands of years experience in making pottery by naturally occurring purple sand clay, Yixing city become a unique geographic location - “the pottery capital of China”. Yixing sits atop an abundant source of “Purple Sand” clay that is also known as “the five-colored earth”. The local pottery culture has been listed as part of the National Cultural Heritage. CNC factory is located in Yixing city.
All CN Terracotta materials are based on the “five color soil” still produced by the natural coloring technique. This gives CNC products a strong and distinct competitive advantage, new pigments, glazes and innovative surface finishes are being added constantly.
Terracotta panel is a new energy-saving and environment-friendly material. It was born in Germany in 1980s. It is made as natural clay for raw material, produced by the wet extruding process and sintered in high temperature.
